Healing from liposuction. What is normal?

Posted on May 6, 2021

Liposuction is awesome, and I have been doing it for over 20 years now. It gives great results, can change your body pattern of where you put your fat (love handles and thunder thighs no more), and may have health benefits. For health benefits read HERE and HERE.

So if it is so great why doesn’t everyone do it?

Liposuction is a surgery, and with surgery there are risks and changes which happen. People have tried to do noninvasive fat removal with things like Coolsculpt- which may work well for tiny areas in those with good skin tone- but liposuction isn’t going away anytime soon. It still is the most effective way to remove fat and sculpt.

What is “normal” healing after liposuction?

And the other thing I love about liposuction is it give us fat to do something else with. Please read about all the awesome things with fat grafting and stem cells.
