BACK to BREAST BASICS.
Natrelle’s new snazzy brochure has great illustrations of many of the choices you have for implants, and I loved this photo which discusses the different levels of gummy.
PLEASE NOTE:
- ALL of these are cohesive gels.
- They are different levels of “gumminess.”
- The gummier the implant, the more they will…
- feel FIRMER
- less WRINKLING
- give more UPPER POLE FULLNESS (ie CLEAVAGE)
- & cost a little more.
SO how do you pick?
When you come into the office, we will discuss this. As with all things, there are many nuances.
- I can have you feel the implants (I have samples), so you can feel the difference in the firmness.
- If you want more upper pole fullness (more cleavage for a more breast implanted, augmented look), then the more cohesive gels may be for you.
- If you have super thin skin and may see wrinkles or ripples, the more cohesive gels may be for you.
In my practice, most of my Bay Area patients choose the Responsive implant for a natural slope and softer feel to the implant. But everyone is different, and more options are good for you.
