What are exosomes? And all exosomes are not created equal

What are exosomes?

Exosomes are tiny vesicles that are released by cells, important in cell to cell communication. They carry things- proteins, lipids, mRNA, DNA. When the exosomes are used in regenerative medicine, the stem cell exosomes can reduce inflammation and promote tissue repair and new blood vessel formation.

Why are exosomes used in plastic surgery?

Wound healing and skin regeneration. Studies have shown exosomes help with wound healing and skin regeneration.

Fat grafting and soft tissue augmentation. Studies show exosomes can improve fat graft retention rates. It is thought to do this by reducing early inflammation and improving angiogenesis. Later it is thought to promote fat growth and collagen synthesis.

Aesthetic medicine.  Exosomes are used for skin rejuvenation, anti-aging therapies, scar reduction, and hair loss treatment to leverage their regenerative properties.

What are important distinctions between exosome brands?

All exosomes are not created equal. There are key differences between them. What is the age of the exosome? The source? How is it processed? How is it applied?

Why does Dr. Lauren Greenberg use the exosomes she does?

So I researched this a lot before picking a brand. I met with the bench researchers and founders of the brands.

For topical serum application used in microneedling for skin rejuvenation and hair regeneration I like Resilielle. Why?

Resilielle Age Zero Exosomes
