What is dysport?
It is a botox alternative. It is made from botulinimtoxin A. It is a competitor to botox. Coke vs. Pepsi if you will.
Why have I not offered it before?
I did do trials on a few patients and waited until they were out months to evaluate. Did it work? as well? less well? Did they notice any difference? Also I wanted to let the dust settle and see if there were big numbers of patients dissatisfied with the product before I introduced it to my patients.
So what do I think?
Jury is out for me. I am as curious as Dysport in the “love it or leave it.” I am a huge fan of Botox. I think it is a great product. I do think though, just like with fillers, some products work better for different people. I have some patients who Juvederm lasts for months and months and Restylane does not, and then others where the converse is true. I do know in Europe, where there have been multiple competitors to Botox, Botox has market share.
So if you want to try it, come in.
To get the monetary benefits of the challenge, you need to have your first injection done before April 30. If you are ever going to try it, do so now- I don’t know when they will offer rebates like this again.
Call 650 617 9907 for an appointment. As always, I will do botox on a special day, as I feel strongly fresh botox is more effective and lasts longer.
Everybody’s talking about Dysport, a prescription injection used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults less than 65 years of age.
We’re so confident you’ll love our product, Medicis Aesthetics is presenting you with the Dysport Challenge. It’s your chance to try Dysport at substantial savings. Ask your doctor if Dysport is right for you.
