The Aesthetic Plastic Surgical Meeting, like all face to face meetings, was canceled. What replaced it was awesome. There were the traditional talks, but unlike a regular meeting where you are in the audience and there is limited interaction, in this meeting there was a running sidebar chat. During talk, the presenter was in the chat room, as the talk was prerecorded. I found this invaluable, to answer all those questions like “What type of suture do you use?” When you have been in practice for over 20 years, I don’t need to know the basics. I need to know the finer nuances.
